Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies was registered in Belarus on March 23, 2016.
Association is created by initiative of communications agency "Belaya Karona" and Agency of business-events "White Square". AKMA is supposed to become the most active, mass and progressive professional association in advertising industry of Belarus.

Mission of AKMA

Mission of AKMA – to help the development of advertising industry in Belarus, to broaden advertising market, so its participants could reach a new professional level with the aim to increase competitiveness of the representatives of Belarusian communications industry either on local or foreign markets.

ACMA is an organizer of major in Belarus projects in the sphere of marketing and communications including White Square International advertising festival (call for entries is now open on adfest.by), Effie Belarus and a number of others.

ACMA established and annually forms Creativity and Craft Ranking of Belarusian agencies. Members of ACMA are the leading communications and branding agencies and production studios of the country.

ACMA is regularly collaborating with industrial organizations all around the world and is always interested in establishing new business contacts and ready to represent your interests and initiatives on the territory of Belarus.
Tasks of AKMA

Development of program of development of advertising market of Belarus;

Implementation and promotion of industrial standards, ethical rules of tendering;

Suggestion of initiatives forming consensus point of view between participants of ad market and government, including questions on improving legislation in the sphere of advertising;

Increasing of quality of education of industrial specialists; search, development and involvement of young talents; organizing of active practice of traineeships;

Implementation of new progressive industrial trends, including educational programs and industrial events – conferences, festivals etc;

Solving of socially important problems, development of quality of social advertising, social responsibility of ad industry for results of its activity;

Exchange of up-to-date international experience, representation of Belarusian communications market on international arena.
International Initiatives of AKMA
Since the first days of its creation, AKMA has become a member of EACA (European Association of Communications Agencies).

АКМА entered The National Associations Council of EACA, representing the interests of 30 countries around Eorope. Belarus has become 31st European country, represented in EACA.

AKMA is an official representative of festivals KIAF, Wow Done, Ad Black Sea, organized by All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, Russian national festival Idea!, festival of marketing services Silver Mercury, festival of territorial marketing Open Volga, Latvian Golden Hammer. AKMA has established close collaboration with Russian Association of Marketing Services, Association of Branding Companies of Russia, Estonian Association of Marketing and Communications Agencies, Latvian Advertising Association.

The Chairman of Board of AKMA Alena Ustinovich has entered Advertising Council of Eurasian Economic Union. This vector of development will help the members of AKMA to get support and preferences in this area and make a contribution to the development of future initiatives.
