ABOUT FESTIVAL

International marketing and advertising festival White Square is one of the largest creative communications festivals in Europe.

In 2021, White Square will be held on June 9-11 and will traditionally consist of two blocks - awards and business forum for international exchange of best practices and innovations in marketing and communications industry.

Representatives of more than 30 countries of the world - Eastern European and Baltic regions, Western Europe, America, Asia, over 1000 entries and delegates of business program, including the largest international and local advertisers and the brightest representatives of European professional creative community, take part in White Square every year.

White Square business forum continues for three days and includes more than 90 master classes, lectures, discussion panels, talk shows from the headliners of the leading communication forums of Europe and the CIS. You can always get inspiration from informal networking with advertisers from numerous countries at festival parties, widely known for their driving and hospitable atmosphere.

Call for entries to White Square 2021 is open online on this website since December 1, 2020 to May 17, 2021. At early stages of the call for entries substantial financial bonuses are provided for participants.

The jury of White Square 2021 will be represented by creative and art directors, top managers of the leading international agencies which headline creativity rankings in their markets - persons with worldwide recognition in advertising from more than 30 countries, holding tones of prestigious festival awards, including numerous Cannes Lions, and rich experience of judging at most remarkable creative festivals around the globe.

The culmination of the festival is awards show celebrating the winners in the best traditions of European ad festivals. Prize-winners of White Square are widely promoted in industrial media all around Europe and the CIS.

CONTESTS AND JURY

The jury of White Square 2021 will be represented by creative and art directors, top managers of the leading international agencies which headline creativity rankings in their markets - persons with worldwide recognition in advertising from more than 30 countries, holding tones of prestigious festival awards, including numerous Cannes Lions, and rich experience of judging at most remarkable creative festivals around the globe.


Entries at White Square 2021 will be judged by six jury categories: CREATIVE, BRANDING, MARKETING, DIGITAL, MEDIA, CHANGE FOR GOOD, and also independent international Mass Media jury. Grand Prix of the festival will be awarded by special Grand Jury team consisting of the Chairmen of all jury categories.

The judging of all jury groups will take place in early June. Right after this all the shortlists will be available on the website. Prize-winners (golds, silvers and bronzes) will be announced at awards show on June 11.

Full jury list will be announced in early February.

Evaluation of entries at White Square is based on Regulation of jury work which defines all the rules, criteria and mechanics of judging. The Regulation is based on the principles of impartiality, objectivity and professionalism. The main criteria for the jury are originality and creativeness of idea and quality of its execution.

PROGRAM

Business and educational program of White Square 2021 will run during three days – 9th, 10th and 11th of June – and will include over 80 master classes, lectures, workshops, discussion panels, talk shows devoted to newest trends in marketing, advertising, creativity, branding, digital, media. Accredited participants will be able to discover effective communications solutions and explore successfull tools and lifehacks in marketing that are relevant in various markets.

Nowaday White Square is one of the strongest in Eastern Europe business forums in the sphere of marketing and advertising communications, providing its participants with professional insights about how to be effective in business thanks to creativity in marketing strategies.
