EACA believes that education is the key for professional excellence and for the sustainable growth and innovation of the commercial communications industry. Faced with a highly competitive and dynamic world market, education and training has become a prerequisite for effective competition. To meet this demand, EACA has developed a broad range of educational & training tools to support the learning needs of students, academics, young professionals and more experienced employees, grouped under the umbrella of the EACA Academy. AKMA members are provided with special fees on participation in all of these programs.

EUROPEAN INSTITUTE FOR COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATIONS EDUCATION promotes excellence in communications education and research and enhances communication and cooperation between the European commercial communication sector and academic partners.

EACA International Summer School is a week-long training programme run in July which aims to inspire and challenge participants to improve their knowledge and skills to be successful in the communications industry.
Format:
- Interactive workshops with leading professionals;
- Work on a brief from an international client;
- Pitch in front of a judging panel comprising the client, EACA's Director General and EACA's School Principal, as well as an agency representative.

Audience: advertising and media agency staff (1-2 years' experience).
Price: €650 (+VAT as appropriate) for EACA members.

Ad Venture: Pan-European student competition challenging participants to propose a communications campaign on a real brief (ie in 2011, the competition was organised on the OBA Awareness topic. The campaign is currently live in several European markets). EACA members are invited to participate in the jury.

Ed Talks: Ad professionals are invited to conduct webinars on cutting-edge topics for a European audience comprised of students, academics and junior agency staff.

EACA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF ADVERTISING & COMMUNICATIONS aims to help raise professional standards across the communications industry and develop the skills and talents of its practitioners. The school brings together 27 experienced trainers with vast experience both within communications agencies and as professional trainers.
Topics Covered:
- Business Management Skills (ex. Understanding client business);
- Creative Process Skills (ex. Breaking the rules in creativity);
- Digital Communications Skills (ex. Adapting to the world of social media);
- Senior Management Skills (ex. Embracing and leading change);
- Strategic Planning Skills (ex. Communications effectiveness);
- Team Building and Presentation Skills (ex. Lifting the morale of a team).


EACA CERTIFICATES – EACA Academy offers professional industry training through the following four certificate programmes.
European Advertising Certificate:
It takes junior industry professionals through the brand communications process, from its position within marketing right through to the final execution.

IMCC Diploma:
It increases standards of professionalism in the industry and provides a benchmark for employers through a good overall introduction to promotional marketing and a qualification that is recognised by the industry at large.

Search Certificate:
It builds learners' knowledge about SEO and PPC.

Commercial Certificate:
It gives future industry leaders an education in agency finance, to help with those important client conversations and to build the understanding that you need to create great work that delivers a great profit.
