Brussels, 6 November 2020:
52 campaigns have been shortlisted by the jury in the Effie Awards Europe 2020. The Effie Europe is an annual competition which rewards the most effective commercial communications campaigns in Europe and is the symbol of proven advertising effectiveness and a tribute to the client and agency partnership.
Among 52 finalists, 30 were shorlisted in the general competition and 22 in the Best of Europe category. The final round for the general categories will take place on 16 & 17 November. The finalists come from a range of agencies from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Click here

This year's jury is co-chaired by a client and an agency leader: Claudia Kuhn, Brand Building and Integrated Communication Manager at Procter and Gamble and Brian McCarter, Chief Strategy Officer, EMEA at Ogilvy. "Creative Advertising is always enjoyable to watch. Yet, most powerful and hardest to achieve is creativity that is proven to build the Brand's business. The Effie is all about that: You cannot win it without having inspiring creative, but neither can you without solid business results. I am honored and looking forward to being co-chair for this prestigious award and see the most inspiring and business building creative work of the year!", said Claudia Kuhn.
The jury is composed of 90 industry professionals from almost 20 European countries and will determine 2020's winners. The judging sessions are planned for end of October & November. Check out the full jury list & profiles.
